WG Risk - Tuesday, April 10, 2018 - Cyril PIAT

Dear All,

We are launching the new series of the Working Group on Risk (CREAR) focused on Cyber Risk & Security, with the support of the IDS dpt, Institut des Actuaires, LabEx MME-DII, and the group BFA (SFdS). It is a natural continuation of the series on Data Science, since cyber risk can be seen as a cause and a consequence of data science, but also as a tool to manage this type of risks. In this seminars series, various experts will present the different dimensions of cyber risk: analysis of exposure, prevention, and management. A 2 days conference on this topic will close the series. It will take place at our Singapore campus on July 26-27; please note that the deadline of the call for papers is April, 20.

Date and place: Tuesday, April 10, at 12:30 pm, ESSEC - campus La Défense (CNIT) - room 202

Abstract:
More than 70% of cybercrime consists of scams. The French gendarmerie cybercrime center (C3N) centralized real time delinquency and identifies new trends. The presentation will focus on the analysis process and current cases.
