1. MiMo 2020 Workshop on Mixture Models, les 26 et 27 mars 2020, à Rouen Le Laboratoire de Mathématiques Raphaël Salem (Université de Rouen Normandie) organise un workshop sur les méthodes statistiques pour les modèles de mélange, intitulé "MiMo 2020", les 26 et 27 mars 2020 à Rouen. 2. 19th Spatial Econometrics and Statistics Workshop (SEW 2020), les 28 et 29 mai 2020, à Nantes The 19th Spatial Econometrics and Statistics Workshop will be held in Nantes (France) on May 28-29, 2020. This edition follows previous conferences held in France since 2002. Its objective is to bring together economists, econometricians, statisticians, geographers and mathematicians to discuss the state-of-the-art and future challenges as well as opportunities in the fields of spatial econometrics and statistics. This workshop also aims to reinforce and encourage exchanges between senior and junior researchers involved in spatial statistics and econometrics. Important highlights: - Keynote speakers: Prof. Badi Baltagi (Syracuse University) and Prof. Yves Zenou (Monash University) - The Cem Ertur Prize that aims to recognize and honor outstanding research by a junior researcher related to spatial econometrics Important dates: - Workshop dates: May 28-29, 2020 - Deadline for Abstract/Paper Submissions: March 15, 2020 - Notification of Acceptance: April 5, 2020 - Contact: sew2020@univ-nantes.fr Completed papers or extended abstrats should be submitted electronically in .pdf format via the online platform. All abstracts should include the title, keywords, JEL classification, authors’names, affiliation and an email address. Please underline the name of the presenting author. When submitting, also indicate if you are a Ph.D. student or a young researcher (having defended a Ph.D. within the three years) and if you want to compete for the Cem Ertur Prize for Young Researchers. 3. 17th international conference Applied Statistics 2020 (AS2020), du 20 au 23 septembre 2020, à Ribno (Bled), en Slovénie Statistical Society of Slovenia organizes the 17th international conference Applied Statistics 2020, which will take place between September 20. - 23. 2020 in Ribno (Bled), Slovenia. The aim of the conference (organized yearly since 2004) is to bring together statisticians, working in diverse fields of statistics and its applications. 4. Prix SFdS-ENSAI 2019 du meilleur projet statistique de 2ème année Le Prix SFdS-ENSAI récompense, depuis 2012, le meilleur projet statistique de deuxième année d’ENSAI. Comme chaque année, les sujets ont été très variés, à la fois en terme d'applications et de types de méthodes utilisées. Les rapports reçus ont suscité l'intérêt du Jury qui a eu à départager des travaux de grande qualité. C'est le sujet "Classifieurs sur données textuelles pour le diagnostic médical" traité par Guillaume Flament, Camille Frévent et Benjamin Larvaron qui a finalement reçu les faveurs du Jury. Ce Prix leur sera remis lors des prochaines Journées de Statistique, organisées à Nice (25-29 mai 2020), où les lauréats auront l’opportunité de présenter leurs travaux. **********
5. Programme Jeunes Talents France 2020 L'Oréal-UNESCO Pour les Femmes et la Science : appel à candidatures La Fondation L'Oréal, en partenariat avec la Commission nationale française pour l'UNESCO et l'Académie des sciences, lance l'appel à candidatures de l'édition 2020 du programme Jeunes Talents France L'Oréal-UNESCO Pour les Femmes et la Science. Créé en 2007, ce programme a pour objet de révéler et récompenser de jeunes chercheuses talentueuses. Au total, 265 jeunes femmes ont bénéficié d’une dotation L’Oréal-UNESCO Pour les Femmes et la Science. En 2020, la Fondation L’Oréal remettra 35 dotations en France. Au minimum, 5 de ces dotations seront dédiées à des chercheuses effectuant leurs travaux de recherche dans les Outre-mer : - d’un montant de 15 000 € chacune à des doctorantes, - d’un montant de 20 000 € chacune à des post-doctorantes. Merci de diffuser cet appel à candidatures au sein de votre établissement ou de votre réseau et, ainsi, encourager les chercheuses à soumettre leur dossier. Le règlement du programme, ainsi que l’affiche, sont disponibles sur la plateforme digitale du programme. La date limite de dépôt des dossiers de candidatures est le lundi 23 mars 2020. |
